An afternoon of sculptures

I took the boys out to the Walker Arts Sculpture Garden today.
We were at a dog adoption event and drove by so we decided to stop.
It was a beautiful, beautiful day to be outside.

Out in the yard...

Rain dropped tulip

Strawberry fields forever...

Blueberry blooms

The garden is ready to be planted.

New growth every where.

New doggy playing and trying to eat everything!

Art and giggles

Chayton had a piece of his art work selected for the school district art show.
I am very proud of him, as usual.

Me and my two best friends!
We had an overnight at a hotel in Minneapolis, last weekend, and just shopped, ate, talked and giggled.

Proud momma

We have a new addition to our family and I'm a proud momma once again!
Her current name is Evie and we haven't decided if we'll rename her.
She's 4 months old and weighs about 4 lbs.

Brayden snuggling with her.
Evie and Isis cheching each other out.

All 3 dogs at my feet.

Routines and logistics are all mixed up in our house right now.
But it's all good.

Outdoor goings-on

This morning I noticed our strawberries have blooms on them already!

I'm not much of a flower planter but my hubby likes to buy bulbs and plant them all over.  It's interesting to see what comes up each year.  I thought this was a very pretty colored tulip.

We knocked down a hornet's nest a couple weeks ago.  They've already started rebuilding.  Interesting how they are sitting up on the top of it.  Guarding it?  Building it?

Stopped at my first couple garage sales this morning.  Didn't find much but it was a nice morning to be out.  I did pick up some wooden nickels (I remember seeing these a lot when I was kid.) and put them in a mason jar for the kids to play with or to use as a decoration.  I thought this little mason jar mug was cute--it's about the size of a small juice jar.  I'll probably use it for flowers.  My big finds of the day!

The kids have been busy in the yard with their forts and "cities" they're building.  Yesterday, they were crafting their own bow and arrow.

Have a fabulous day!
